Researching the Conventions of Homepage (Alt J)

I have chose to research an artist which is similar to our artist. I have chose Alt-J.

This is the website's homepage. This is the first thing the audience will see to judge the artist on. This is a very simple homepage which reflects the musical element of the sound of their music. The main sections which re shown are the news, live, music, shop and sign up. This all attracts the attention of the audience and they can see the music easily and buy merchandise easily, this benefits the band because it is easy way for the bands music to be played and for them to make money. By having all their social media links directly below, it is easy to share on their social media accounts which raises awareness,  it would also help them gain views on YouTube.
